Disclosure of data

RSM Press and ExamWeb may use the information received to provide the examdoctor service. In order to provide these services, your personal data may in some situations be seen by third parties, such as maintenance contractors repairing and maintaining ExamWeb technical systems.

Except from that stated above, we will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information without your permission except under special circumstances, for instance if required by law.

Any information collected by us will be treated confidentially.

Please remember that any information you reveal, including personally identifiable information in the discussion forum, is not subject to this Privacy Policy. It is therefore important that you carefully consider what information you disclose in these areas.

Correcting/Updating/Storing personal information

We store information only as long as it is necessary.

If there are any changes to the details supplied by you it is your responsibility to inform us as soon as possible.

RSM Press Security Policy

Whenever we handle personal information, regardless of where this occurs, we take every precaution to ensure that your information is treated securely, for instance by encrypting the information with SSL and by storing the information in a secure environment.

Your IP address

Your IP address is used to help identify you and to gather broad demographic information about you for statistical purposes. We may use your IP address in helping to diagnose problems with our server. Your IP address may also be used to assist in the detection of fraud and we may pass this information to the police.

Puchasing a Subscription

When you click 'register now' on the homepage, you will be taken to a list of all exams available on the site, with their prices. Once you have chosen which exam(s) you wish to subscribe to, tick the box(es) and click 'proceed to checkout', you will then be asked to create an account. At this point you will be required to enter your name, address and email, and create a password. You will then be asked to fill in your credit card details in order to complete the transaction. On clicking 'buy now' your credit card will be processed and you will be sent an email to confirm your order.

Cancellation of your subscription is not permitted once the service has started to be supplied.

The examdoctor service is supplied subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply you with the service for the agreed term of your subscription, we will inform you as quickly as possible and will arrange a pro-rata refund for the period of your subscription that we are unable to fulfil. We accept no liability for any direct or indirect losses caused as a result of us being unable to provide you with the service for the full term of your subscription.

Accounts and Passwords

The account and password that you set up when you purchase a subscription is yours alone and is non-transferable. Your login details must be kept confidential and used only by you for the full term of your subscription. We reserve the right to take action should you breach this requirement.

ExamWeb retain all right, title and interest (including all copyrights, patents, service marks, trademarks and other intellectual property rights) in and to the software, including, but not limited to the source code, templates, html code, database coding, window displays or other screen appearances, as well as other coding that may relate to delivering the software via the internet.

No part of this website and/or its content may be reproduced, stored in any medium, in any form or by any means including but not limited to electronic, paper, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or broadcasting, nor can the site be shown in a public gathering. You may not create any derivative work or make any other adaptation, without our prior written consent. You must not modify any of the copies you have displayed on screen in any way and you may not use any illustrations, photographs, videos or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text. Any permitted use of our material above is subject to ensuring that our copyright notices and trade marks appear as they do on our website. Ask an Expert

For those exams where Ask an Expert is offered, we will endeavour to answer your queries on the questions and answers on examdoctor as quickly as possible. While we are happy to answer queries regarding the wording of a question - for example where the user feels the question is ambiguous, or where the answer does not seem to make sense - we cannot answer general queries about the exam, or subject-related queries that come from a user's lack of knowledge in a particular area. In these instances users are asked to consult their recommended textbooks, or to post a query on the examdoctor forum to get advice or assistance from other users.

The Ask an Expert feature is a free service provided for our subscribers and we are unable to guarantee an answer to your query in a particular timeframe, though we will make every effort to get you an answer as quickly as possible.
